and...we're back!

I've decided to start blogging again, not because i have extra time on my hands at all..but because days are flying by now and with my short-term, extremely limited memory (and getting worse) i'd like to remember some things that have happened. so here goes..the good and the bad.

work:
mon - left at 6pm
tues - left at 6:45
wed - left at 7:15 (don't like where this is going)
thurs - :(

i've been leaving work later and later this week...and yesterday the big announcement came--no surprise to anyone--that we had to come in for full Saturdays from now on. weeee!! tax season is just the BEST. Other than that, work is good. loving the job--hating the hours. Right now, I'm contemplating whether to stay or leave...job security vs. trying something totally new and taking a risk, i'm leaning towards the latter--what better time than now?

me:
today i'm a walking, talking, coughing, sniffling virus...BLAH.

yesterday:
went to see The Bank Job with Dorcas! No nachos this time--we're on a diet. It was a pretty good movie--very suspenseful (8/10). Hopefully this will become a weekly movie date! :) We also secretly go to visit old man James--the ticket ripper. He's only been there like, forever--and even has his own fb appreciation group:

p90x:
what is p90x? It's a set of workout videos that sell on TV that 3 friends and I started doing. It's full body workouts spread over 90 days (1 hr per day) working on a certain set of muscles every day, and some days just cardio and yoga. It's been tough to stay on track, and summer is getting closer! Currently i'm on day 5.

last weekend:
was my gramma's bday! she turned 89 and is still smiling and still doing my laundry...but seriously, she's the greatest. we went to dinner and got her flowers and cake. and apparantly its a chinese tradition to give red pockets out on your birthday. woohoo! my aunt also came to visit from colorado and she brought me my first pair of SKI GOGGLES! They're Spy Comet.
